FBI agency officials are encouraging the public to alert the FBI to anything that might help them stop terrorists. Join the InfraGard!
The FBI wants Palmeto Bay residents, and all South Floridans, to help fight terrorism.
At a recent meeting with local business professionals, college students, and academians, representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) talked about the bureau’s InfraGard partnership, a system that connects federal investigators with people who work in banking, transportation, and agriculture, among other industries.
Acording to the FBI, these industries can become terrorist targets, and the Feds hope to exchange information with people who work in them.

“We do depend on the people like the ones assisting this conference today,” said Nelson Barbosa, program coordinator for InfraGard. “They can assist us in many ways, simply by keeping their eyes and ears open.”
